The Night Vision Devices PVS-14-10X Night Vision Monocular is a dedicated ten power monocular for long range observation and surveillance. This unit uses the AN/PVS-14 body assembly in conjunction with a high quality ten power astronomy grade catadioptric objective lens. The NVD-14-10X can also be supplied with a camera adapter for high quality night vision imagery.
Power is supplied via one AA battery for a run time of up to 40 hours of continuous use. The NVD-10X can be fitted with either a Gen 2 or Gen 3 image intensifier. Because the unit is based upon the popular AN/PVS-14 night vision monocular, repair, maintenance and supportability are greatly enhanced and the image intensifier can be upgraded at any time with a drop-in replacement image tube. A built-in high light cutoff turns power off to the unit if it is left on during daylight hours.
The NVD-14-10X can acquire targets in excess of 2500 yards. Extremely lightweight and rugged, the NVD-14-10X can be configured with a variety of image intensifier tubes. Produced with high-quality, all glass optics, the 10X lens is designed specifically for optimal light transference with night vision devices. The NVD-10X can also be tripod mounted for added stability and camera use.
With our expansive capabilities and strategic partnerships, we are able to custom build any of our NVD manufactured products with Image Intensifiers from either Elbit Systems of America®, Photonis®, or L3®. This includes green and white phosphor and thin or un-filmed image tubes.
