These AN/PVS-7B/D Refurbished Night Vision Goggles come with a Neck Cord, Operators Manual, Lens Cap, AA Batteries (2), and Eyecups. The Refurbished AN/PVS-7B/D might display minor signs of wear and tear. These refurbished systems go through NVD’s rigorous evaluation and repair process to make sure they operate at their initial specifications. The Green Phosphor model comes with a 3 month warranty, the White Phosphor model comes with a 6 month warranty.
The AN/PVS-7B/D was one of the military issued night vision goggles for the US armed forces for many reasons; built to withstand water immersion, utilize quick connect and disconnect features, and include an infrared LED for use in complete darkness and to assist in reading maps. An LED warning light is built into the unit to remind the user that the infrared LED can be seen by others who are using night vision devices. The AN/PVS-7B/D runs on two AA batteries which power the unit for more than 40 hours. A low battery warning light is built into the unit and a high light cut-off which will turn the unit off it if is left on during daylight conditions.
